Patterns

Recurring themes in our lives are our guiding star to underlying beliefs about ourselves and the world around us. Often times, we are unaware of these beliefs leading to continued suffering and defeat. This causes us to throw our hands up and feel helpless to what is going on in our lives.

However, patterns shows us that we are the common denominator. Yes, that can hurt to hear. It can be hard to accept our role that we have played into our suffering. Radical acceptance teaches that life has pain, but life does not have to have suffering.

Deepening your insight and awareness into these patterns results in meaningful change. We are able to identify our thoughts and emotions that have been leading our lives without our conscious awareness, and take back control.

It is a difficult and tedious journey to changing internalized messages we have absorbed. It takes deprogramming and reprogramming simultaneously. I have good news though, it can be done! And, it starts by noticing and accepting the patterns in your life that have lead you here. For example, every job you are at there is always conflict with at least one person that you feel is out to get you, or always being told my partners you are defensive and not listening, or continue to let others violate your boundaries. Whatever the pattern is, you can start to change that and live the life you want to!
