What to Expect

Relationship strife can feel overwhelming and, at times, helpless. Maybe you both feel like you’ve tried everything or maybe you just started having conflict. Either way, the goal is to deepen connection and learn better ways to communicate.

When in the early days of dating, we ask questions and are curious about our significant other, but with time and busy schedules, that changes. We will practice simple and easy things you can change in your day-to-day that helps you stay connected with your partner. For example, daily touches, giving compliments, saying thank you, or asking hypotheticals.

The second step to couples therapy is learning how to navigate conflict. We want to understand what is truly causing the conflict. Maybe you are arguing about the trash not being taken out, but in reality, the root of the argument is not feeling appreciated. We want to advocate for needs before they turn into conflict.
